Ms. Holmes has been a long-term substitute teacher for Metz Middle School since 2014. She was influenced by her mom who was a teacher.

Ms Holmes went to University of Jayhawkers in Kansas and started subbing at Mayfield Elementary School. She then moved on to being a sub at Metz Middle School. She plans to continue subbing at Metz for six to eight more years.

Ms Holmes has four children, so she’s most likely used to being around kids. She has three daughters and one son. She also has one dog and one cat. Ms. Holmes loves her job, she loves the people she works with and the new people she meets every day. Ms. Holmes stated she wants to focus on her health and wellness because she walks with her cane.

Ms. Holmes’ favorite class at the moment is math seven. She would love to have her own class as a civics teacher or an English teacher.
